It is Spring here in Sydney.

I am listening to a lot of new music lately, also thanks to Spotify I feel like I am coming across all sorts of new artists but also music I remember that I loved and I hurry up to make sure to add all these tracks to my playlist to treasure them.

I also realize that I don't know so many lyrics by heart anymore like I did a couple of years ago. I would know every track by name of a favorite CD of mine, would also know their order and already know by the end of a song what the next one will be.

At the moment I like to be surprised when I listen to music, don't want to get bored, I am curious about new sounds and bands but also go back in time when I listen to beloved old songs and sometimes wonder how I could forget about them.

Alpine
alt-J
Santigold
Oliver Tank
Seekae
Grizzly Bear

i have the same feeling regarding music...
there used to be so many albums i know from the first to the last music and now it´s so hard to happen.
i think the last cd i bought and that i know like that is
Declaration of Dependence from Kings of Convenience :)
Spotify ia not yet available in Portugal, but i still count with the recommendations of friends and a little shuffle around the internet to find new bands!
Your pictures are lovely,as always <3

you are so lucky you get to have spring in sydney. summmer's almost over here in greece and i am bracing myself for the cold and the snow :)
i totally agree with you on lyrics and songs. it seems that music is so easy to reach nowadays, so maybe we don't give it the time or attention that we used to.
but, it's always good to share good music and i thank you for the beautiful songs you are sharing in your post.
enjoy your spring tunes!

Supertolle Bilder! Scheint ja ein toller Sommer gewesen zu sein. :)

Würdest du mir verraten, weche(s) Objektiv(e) du hast? Bin auf der Suche nach einer neuen analogen Kamera + Objektiv.
Lieben Dank und schöne Grüße aus München

The cafe is called Bread&Circus and it in a building called The Fountain (an old warehouse). They make everything themselves, it is soooo delicious there. You have to come to Australia to do research for your cafe...there are heaps of great ones :) I could show you

WOW!
